New Trial: AccessMedicine

AccessMedicine from McGraw-Hill provides access to 60 medical textbooks, thousands of images and illustrations, videos, case files, diagnostic tools, drug monographs, and more.  Updated frequently, AccessMedicine provides fast access to the information necessary for completing evaluations, diagnoses, and case management decisions, as well as for pursuing research, medical education and board review.

HSL’s Most Tweeted Words Analyzed

Word Cloud of HSL's Most Tweeted WordsThe top 5 words are:

1. library – Makes sense.

2. health – Ditto.

3. rt – Stands for retweet.  I guess we have a tendency to share the tweets of those we are following.

4. new – We like to keep our users informed of what’s new at the library.

5. ow – It’s not a chore to tweet.  Part of  “ow.ly”, one of two URL shorteners (bit.ly is the other one) we use for the  links we share with our followers.
